Natural first, always. We start from natural and naturally derived ingredients, and we choose whatever gives the best result on your skin rather than whatever reads best on a label. Our soaps are cold process, built on plant oils and butters and cured slowly for a mild, long lasting bar. Our whipped butters are built on shea and mango butters with squalane, and our dry oils on light plant esters with camellia and crambe. Everything is vegan, cruelty free, and free of phthalates and parabens. The full INCI list, fragrance allergens included, is on every product page.

Yes, we ship anywhere in Canada. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more to most addresses; otherwise a flat rate of $9 applies. A few remote and rural areas cost much more to reach: we still cover a good part of it, and the cart shows your exact price as soon as you enter your postal code.

Not at the moment. We ship within Canada only, and checkout accepts Canadian addresses alone. We would love to cross the border one day: join the newsletter and you will hear about it as soon as it happens.

Not yet. Every order leaves our Quebec studio for a Canadian address. Anywhere further is something we hope to grow into, but we are not there today.

Everything is handmade in small batches, so we carefully prepare your order within a few business days. As soon as it leaves the studio, you'll receive a confirmation email.

We want you to be happy with your order. For hygiene and safety reasons, soaps, whipped butters and dry oils can't be returned, and our jesmonite pieces are made to order, so they're final sale. All sale items are final. If something arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, write to info@nectaire.ca with a photo and we'll make it right.

Keep your soap dry between uses, ideally on a draining dish: it is the single thing that makes a bar last. Whipped butters and dry oils keep best away from heat and direct sunlight. Every product page carries its own instructions, and you can browse them all by product type here.
