The serious stuff, kept simple

Terms & Conditions

By placing an order on nectaire.ca, you agree to the terms below. We've kept them short and clear.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Prices and taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST, QST, or HST depending on your province) are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

2. Payment

Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We never have access to your full payment details. Your order is confirmed by email once payment is accepted.

3. Orders and availability

Our products are handmade in small batches and quantities are limited. We may limit the quantity available per person or per order, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that look like they're for resale or that involve an error. Prices and product details can change at any time; if an error slips in, such as a wrong price, description, or availability, we may correct it or cancel the affected order even after it's placed. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, or we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll contact you and refund what you paid for that item.

4. Promotions and discount codes

Discount codes are applied at checkout and can't be applied retroactively. Some offers can be combined; the conditions of each promotion are stated with the offer.

5. Returns

For hygiene and safety reasons, soaps, whipped body butters and dry oils can't be returned, and our made-to-order jesmonite pieces are final sale. All sale items are final. If something arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, write to info@nectaire.ca with a photo and we'll make it right. See our Shipping & Returns page for the full policy.

6. Product use, allergies and safety

Our products should be used according to the care instructions on each product page. Our soaps, whipped body butters and dry oils are made with natural and naturally derived ingredients and fragrance oils, and may contain traces of nuts. Everyone's skin is different, so we recommend doing a patch test before using a new product and stopping use if any irritation or discomfort appears. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a known allergy or skin condition, please check with your healthcare professional before use. Our products are cosmetic and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

7. Warranties

We put real care into every batch, but our products and this website are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, except for those the law grants you and that can't be excluded. We don't guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that a product will meet every expectation, since handmade items naturally vary a little from one to the next.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nectaire and anyone working with us will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site or our products, including any skin reaction, allergy, or misuse of a product. Where we are found liable despite this, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. You also agree to hold us harmless from any third-party claim that results from your misuse of our products or your breach of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Nectaire name, logo, product photos, illustrations, and text on this site belong to us and are protected. Please don't copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Quebec.
