What makes our soaps special
Ingredients you can pronounce: getting clean and smelling good doesn't take harsh chemistry, just good oils, butters, and a little know how.
Cold process and cured for weeks, a slow, traditional method that keeps the natural glycerin in the bar, for a mild, gentle wash that leaves skin comfortable.
Rich in nourishing olive, shea, and coconut, so it cleans without leaving skin tight or stripped.
Fragrances free of phthalates, parabens, and restricted allergens, kept at skin safe levels.
Handmade in small batches in our Quebec studio, cut and cured by hand, one bar at a time.
Because each batch is handmade in small quantities, slight variations in color, texture, and shape are natural. Your bar may look a little different from the photo, which is the mark of something truly handmade.

The intention behind each ingredient
Every ingredient earns its place. Here's what each one does, and why it's in your bar.
Water
Every bar starts here. Water dissolves the lye so it can react with the oils, then most of it evaporates over the weeks of curing, leaving a firm, gentle bar.
Our oil blend
Olive, shea, sweet almond, coconut and castor, in a balance adjusted batch after batch. Olive and shea make the bar gentle and conditioning, coconut gives it hardness and a generous lather, almond a silky feel, and a little castor turns the foam creamy.
Lye (sodium hydroxide)
The one that sounds alarming, and the one no soap exists without. Lye, water and oils react into soap and glycerin, and the lye is used up entirely along the way. None remains in the cured bar.
Fragrances
What gives each bar its scent. Ours are free of phthalates, parabens and restricted allergens, and dosed at skin-safe levels.
Prefer no scent? Meet Bare→Colour and shimmer
Mica and biodegradable glitter, for the tint and the shimmer. Purely cosmetic, and they rinse away without a trace.
Prefer no colour? Meet Bare→Sodium lactate
A salt derived from fermented sugar. It hardens the bar so it keeps its shape, resists going soft in the dish and lasts noticeably longer.
Citric acid
Naturally sourced, it softens hard water and limits the residue soap leaves on tiles and glass.

We recommend a small patch test before first use, and stopping should any irritation appear. Made with natural ingredients and fragrance oils, and may contain traces of nuts.
