What makes our body butter special
Whipped light, never greasy: coco-caprylate and a touch of tapioca give a velvety finish that sinks right in.
Rich in nourishing shea and mango butters, with rice bran oil, for deep, lasting moisture.
Concentrated and buttery, with no water to dilute it: a little goes a long way, and skin stays soft long after a lotion would have faded.
Fragrances free of phthalates, parabens, and restricted allergens, kept at skin safe levels.
Handmade in small batches in our Quebec studio, whipped by hand, one jar at a time.
Because each jar is whipped by hand in small batches with natural butters, texture and color may vary slightly. Warm weather can soften it and cool weather can firm it up, which is completely normal for a natural, oil based butter.

The intention behind each ingredient
Every ingredient earns its place. Here's what each one does, and why it's in your jar.
Our butter and oil blend
A whipped base of shea and mango butters with rice bran oil and squalane. Shea and mango give deep, lasting moisture, rice bran oil is light and naturally rich in antioxidants, and squalane, close to the oil skin makes itself, restores suppleness in seconds. Nourishing without any heaviness.
Coco-caprylate and tapioca
Why the butter sinks in instead of sitting on top. Coco-caprylate, a light plant-derived ester, glides in within seconds, and a touch of tapioca starch softens the finish so it feels velvety, never slick.
Cetyl alcohol and stearic acid
Plant-derived, and nothing like the drying alcohol in a toner. They hold the whip together, so the texture stays airy and even from the first scoop to the last.
Fragrances
What gives each butter its scent. Ours are free of phthalates, parabens and restricted allergens, and dosed at skin-safe levels.
Prefer no scent? Meet Bare→Vitamin E
A natural antioxidant. It protects the skin and keeps the oils and butters fresh, so the last scoop is as good as the first.
